Grab your guitars and get your singing voices ready - Bravo is on the hunt for the next great songwriter for its newest competition series in development “Platinum
Hit” featuring undiscovered singer-songwriters, talented newcomers battle through a series of innovative songwriting challenges to find out who's ready for the top of the pop charts. The network is partnering with True Entertainment (“The Real Housewives of Atlanta”) and
The Writing Camp, America’s top songwriting team behind such hits as Beyonce’s “HALO” and Rihanna’s “SOS,” to discover the nation’s top talent in every genre of music. The winner of the series will receive a cash prize, a publishing deal with Sony ATV and a development deal with The Writing Camp for RCA/JIVE.
SONYAE ELISE WINS BRAVO’S MUSIC COMPETITION SERIES
Sonyae Elise, has won the Bravo TV singer-songwriter competition Platinum Hit which is hosted and judged by superstar singer Jewel. Hit making songwriter and TV personality Kara DioGuardi serves as the lead judge and the finale aired Friday, August 5, on Bravo TV. Elise’s winnings include $100,000.00 in cash, a recording contract with RCA/Jive Records, and a publishing deal with Sony and BMI Songwriter’s, The Writing Camp. Hit songwriter Evan Bogart, who is the show’s creator, executive producer and guest judge said, “I’m incredibly proud of Sonyae. She is a real talent not just as a songwriter but as a singer and live performer. She is very inspired and I’m eager to finish up the writing and production of her new album.” Platinum Hit which included celebrity guest judges Leona Lewis, Natasha Bedingfield, Donna Summer, Jermaine Dupri, Rodney Jerkins, Taio Cruz, Bonnie McKee, Colbie Callait, Gavin DeGraw and Ryan Tedder gave viewers a front row seat to experience the journey and aspirations of 12 gifted songwriters and an inside look at this unique creative process for the first time. Platinum Hit was inspired by the dynamic Bogart enjoys with the other founders of his songwriting partnership, The Writing Camp, David ‘DQ” Quinones and Erika Nuri. Bogart’s brother Tim Bogart also served as an Executive Producer on Platinum Hit.
